Refunds
Last updated 12 September 2026. Short, because it should be.
The trial is where you decide
You get 7 days of the whole product before a card is charged. Nothing is held back during it — same board, same predictions, same everything a paying subscriber sees. Cancel before the trial ends and there is nothing to refund, because you were never charged.
We put the free window first, and made it the full product, so that the decision happens before your money does.
Once a month starts, it is not refundable
A one-off report is $124, charged once, no subscription. If two weekday mornings in a row find nothing worth your time in your codes, it is refunded in full without you asking.
It is $299 a month, month to month. Cancel whenever you like — the button is on your account page, there is no fee, and you keep access to the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial month.
Here is the reasoning, plainly. When you start a month, the resources for that month are committed to you — whether you log in every day or never open it at all. The nightly rebuild runs, the whole board gets rescored against the codes you track, your filters and alerts run against every new notice, and that work is done for your account all month whether or not you came to read it. None of it unwinds on the last day of the month because you turned out to be busy.
That is also why the free trial is 7 days of everything rather than a crippled demo. The evaluation is meant to happen there, before anything is committed on either side.
When we do refund
If the charge was our mistake, we fix it in full, and you should not have to push:
- You were billed twice for the same month.
- You were billed after you canceled.
- You were billed during what should still have been your free trial.
- Billing kept running while your account was paused.
- The service was down or broken for a meaningful part of the month.
Write to support@uncontestedbids.com and say which one it was. We check it against our own billing records rather than taking a position, and where we got it wrong the money goes back.
Pause instead, if that is the real problem
Plenty of this work is seasonal. If you are leaving because you have all the work you can handle right now, pause instead of cancelling — billing stops, your saved filters and tracked codes stay exactly where they are, and you turn it back on when you want more work. You do not have to start over, and you do not pay for the quiet months.
How a refund actually happens
Approved refunds go back to the card that was charged, through Stripe. Their side usually takes five to ten business days to appear, which is out of our hands.

One thing we will not do
We will not refund on the grounds that a prediction came out wrong. We publish our measured accuracy on the record page, misses included, precisely so you know before you pay that some calls miss. A tool that is right most of the time is what is for sale. Certainty is not, and anyone selling you that is lying.
