Terms of Service

What this service is

UNCONTESTED reads public federal contracting data and tells you two things about an open solicitation: roughly how many bidders we expect it to draw, and whether the work looks genuinely open to an outside bidder or already spoken for.

It is an estimate, not a promise. Every prediction is shown with the measured accuracy of its evidence tier, and where we have no history we show no number at all. Nothing here is a guarantee that you will win a contract, that a contract will draw the number of bidders we expect, or that a solicitation labeled open is in fact winnable by you.

What it is not

We are not lawyers, accountants, or contracting officers, and nothing in the product is legal, financial, or procurement advice. Decisions about which contracts to pursue, what to bid, and whether you are eligible are yours.

The underlying data comes from the federal government. We do not control it, we cannot correct it at source, and it is sometimes wrong or late. We exclude expired deadlines at query time and show you how old the feed is, so you can judge for yourself.

Your account

One account, one business. Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.

Do not scrape the service, resell the output as your own data product, or run automated bulk extraction against it. Reading the board, exporting your own filters, and using what you learn to bid are all exactly what you are paying for.

Billing

$299 per month. The first 7 days are a free trial. We take a payment method up front, and we do not charge it during the trial — cancel before the trial ends and you are never billed.

After the trial it renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel or pause at any time from your account page. There is no contract and no cancellation fee.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — it goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. If you do, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

We can suspend or close an account that is scraping the service, sharing a login across businesses, charging back legitimate payments, or breaking these terms. If we do that and you had paid for time you did not get, we refund the unused part.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We work hard to be accurate and we publish our error rate openly, but we do not warrant that the predictions will be correct in any individual case.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost contracts, or bids that did not go your way.

Changes, and how to reach us

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Any dispute will be brought in the state courts of Upton County, Texas. Where a matter cannot be heard there — including anything that has to be brought in federal court — it will be brought in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Midland/Odessa Division, which covers Upton County and sits at Midland.
